Officially a 968 Owner!
Well after years of wanting a 968 and sneaking over from the 944/951 boards to drool over everyone's 968 pics and topics I am finally an owner of one! I was looking for a clean car above all else but secretly was hoping to get a black/black one with LSD and if really lucky M030. After casually looking for the past couple of years and getting serious the past few months I finally got in contact with another rennlist member wanting to sell and we made the deal official this past Saturday. The car is a 92', has all the original paint which is in fantastic shape, immaculate black interior and has 220 LSD! I got in touch with a lot of owners with fantastic cars, but ultimately could only pick one and this one suited my needs. The owner and I met up at Tail of the Dragon which was a good way for him to say goodbye to the car and an awesome way to break in my new ownership. Plans for the car include a full M030 conversion, Speedlines, and a few other tasteful mods.
Here are a couple of pictures from the day with my dad's E36 M3, and a few at home with it's new garage buddies.

congrats! and +1 on converting to something a little more modern... its nice to say you have factory parts but the newer stuff is just so much better AND more compliant. (read: comfortable)
its a beauty btw, black is by far the best!

Wow, beautiful car! Congratulations. And good work getting an LSD manual coupe, all 968s should have been built that way.
I say go for the M030 conversion, I'm very happy with mine. I wouldn't have it any other way.
But I would suggest just doing the suspension, don't bother with upgrading the rotors and calipers, because the stock brakes are so fantastic already. Even on the racetrack with Hoosiers, all they need is proper pads and fluid plus air ducting.

Thanks guys! I will check out the KW setup but I have always been a sucker for the rare factory oem equipment hence the desire for M030.
Jeff I wasn't aware of any parade/drive, where do I learn more?
