Default Got pics of a mint green coupe at Thunderhill this weekend!

I was shocked when I spotted this 968 @ the PCA DE this Saturday. We even had the same run group! It was a beautiful 1992 mint green 6 speed coupe with 55k miles, 17" wheels, black interior and sports seats with mint green piping! How many mint green coupes are there anyway??

I'm am sooo jealous of you. You keep finding and running into these rare cars. What the heck!?!
Great looking car.
Only thing I'd do is paint match that rear wing.

Good catch Trev, we have seen that car before. It surfaced on Craigslist about 5 years ago and then disappeared again.

It is NS820398, optioned with sport seats, painted crests, partial leather, and a rear emblem delete. It is 1 of 2 Mint green 968 coupes produced for North America. Very cool!!!

Dude, you have no idea... But I am a student of 968's.

Here are some track photos of me following the mint green coupe through turn 5 in my box:

Trev, were you able to corner the owner and talk to him at all?

Yup, he was a kind older gentleman and I spoke with him a lot. He says that the car was inherited from his uncle or something like that. He wasn't an expert on 968's so I told him about some of the maintenance he should probably do. I also pointed out the low volume of 968's and mentioned that his car was probably very, very rare [maybe 1 of 1 or 2]. I've got his contact info actually and told him there are several local 968 owners who enjoy meeting up and going for drives. I think he lives only 45 minutes east of me.

Make sure he calls you if the car goes up for sale. It is definately the nicer of the 2 mint green coupes, the other car is also a stick and has the black/cashmere partial leather with painted crests as its only option.

I remember spotting that car on craigslist. I think it was fairly cheap too, or at least it was when I saw it.
