Default Mid Winter Drive

Mid Winter Drive
The sun was out the roads were void of snow so I went out for a drive. I smiled all the way to and from work
The car came back filthy but it was worth it!

Know the feeling. Even though I didn't drive my cab, I turned it on and moved it to a different spot. Just that alone had my blood pumping. Hope you enjoyed it .

Funny, an old g/f who lives in Michigan told me 'it's 51 degrees here and I put the top down on my green BMW.'

My theory is to wait untill the first hard rain to wash the salt and gravel away. Prbabably not as bad in other places as it is here in the midwest.

I guess that's one nice thing about where I live - no snow, salt, or freezing temps. But my neighbor's tree dumps sticky seed pods all over my cars, the power lines going over my driveway are the choice lavatory of the winged, and gas is $3.90 a gallon, so it's not all that great.

Arash, having spent alot of time in the Bay (relatives in Kentfield, and I have a joint in Pebble Beach), I'd take your problems over snow and freezing temps. Everythings frozen up here, and covered in snow...

That looks like so much fun but I know that's just because snow always looks fun in pictures.

Aw, why did I have to open my big mouth? The weather forecast for the bay area tomorrow has snow at sea level for the first time since 1976. Yeah, they say we can throw snowballs in downtown. We'll see...

Cool pics - enjoy the snow- kind of like formula drift without the tire consumption.

Cheers, Mike
