Post 968 CS

Found this looking for a 928 CS or SE. Wouldn't mind having this one though!

Why not a CS with real CS-seats?

I didn't catch that Anders. Still a sweet looking car. Just been surfing for a 928 SE or CS. Prices over there are quite a bit lower than here. Which means they are about the same after importation.

I suppose Anders means "real CS seats" = original CS bucket seats.

Looks like it has the standard hatch lock, weren't they deleted on true CS's?

the Club sport i've seen imported into Colorado was nothing like that one. instead of fog lights, there were brake cooling lines, and it was covered with a screen. it had racing seats, with REALLY agressive side bolsters, and it had a factory roll cage, and an adjustable wing. I'd say that unfortunatly, it's no clubsport. sorry man

CS's didn't have any special brake cooling ductwork, and if it had a roll cage it was specially ordered or added on. Same with the adjustable wing, that was std only on the Turbo S/RS. The hard shell sport seats were standard, but you could delete them at time of order.

Trev, the CS we saw at Hershey was the 'comfort' model, I guess similar to the UK 'sport' model-recontened up to make it more livable. But even the Hershey car had a blankoff on the hatch, with the correct interior pull cord to pop the hatch.

This is the 968 CS that I saw. I lied when I said the fog lights were removed for brake ducts, but they are UNDER the fogs. note the roll bar (factory), and the adjustable wing (also factory)

Nice front spoiler !

Did you ask the owner where he got it ?
Did he do it himself out of a stock one ?

We just had a group buy on 968.net for factory splitters. You can buy aftermarket as well, but they are much thinner fiberglass instead of the factory ABS plastic.
