Post Brake cooling kit

Any one out there fitted one of these to your 968? If so where did you get it from and has it worked?

You can also use the 968 Club Sport coolers. These are scoops that attach to the control arm and strut. You can get them from Diversified Cryo (he has a 968) www.frozenrotors.com.

Interesting. My plain-vanilla '94 already had 'em when I bought it (2 years+ ago). The new struts I installed also had the needed brackets for remounting the upper part. I've always just assumed that they were standard equipment...???

Jim, and we all know what 'assume' means....

I have a 968 Club Sport and the scoops do appear to be part of the original equipment. Having read an article recently about the myths of brake warping(see thread on 993 list - it's worth reading) I think I will pay more attention to pad and disc breaking in procedure than brake cooling for the moment(I'm a trackday junkie rather than a real racer).

Thanks guys.

I don't get this thread.
ALL 968's have a front brake cooling mechanism in place.
