i'm still wondering how anyone could ever say a 944 is more beautiful than a 968.

 

Personally - I like the appearance of the 944 Cab better than the 968 Cab. I don't like how the rear quarters were integrated and the lines are too flat across the top/back half of the car for the curviness of the 968 design - I think the shapes lend themselves better to the 944 styling. Now if they had made a spyder version of the 968 (similar to the IFC racing 944 spyder one-off), it would be no comparison.

Now the coupe - the 968 wins hands down.

Mine is Polar Silver with Chestnut Brown top and interior - VIN# says it was Polar White but must have been a factory color change order. So mine is actually a one off.

 

my best guess is a tweak on Amethyst Pearl metallic, or just Amethyst metallic.

in any case most of the Amethyst cars are a duller variant.

maybe Jeff can explain the [variance].
