Default 100 cell or 200 cell cat to 968?

I'm thinking the option of refreshing the car's catalysator with a race cat.
Would 200 cell be best way to go, or is there really big difference between 100 and 200 cell cats?

100 cell breaths better -> more top end power, and less torque?

there was some dyno tests done btw. stock pipes and aftermarket + 200cell cat, with some gains, but haven't found any dyno comparisons btw 100 and 200 cell cats.

thanks for input.

It seems like, and I may be wrong, but most people on this board tend to keep their oem cat. And if there is a modification to the exhaust they do some sort of cat back.

I don't know how much power a high flow cat makes on a NA car. I know that the benifits of a high flow or no cat are much greater on a turbo application cause you get the added power and quicker spool up.

Maybe the benifits on a NA car don't outweigh the costs? Please update your results, mattipuh, for curiosity sakes.

I thought cat could be having some S**t builtup after 20years of use. of course, this could be cleaned from old cat aswell, but could require removal of the cat from downpipe.

For what it's worth , the cargraphic exhaust uses a 100 cell cat.

supersprint lists catback which would be neat, but only middle muffler is currently available. Dunno if they plan to make rest of the pipes, or what has the idea been in this to make tubes only partly finished?
