thanks a lot !! i'll be getting them primed and painted in the next few days....
i was parked on South Beach one day and i was standing about 15 feet from the car after i had washed and waxed it right on the Collins Ave strip..... a bunch of girls walked by and one of them uttered, "that's a Porsche right?"..... and one of the other girls said. "yeah but it's really old."

the hood is done.... but the fenders....
been adding resin and etching here and there with great care.
attempting to get both sides as close to exact mirror images of each other is taking a bit more time.
i just might succeed. but the fun part is trying.

yes, but why in God's name would you. ![hiha](https://rennlist.com/forums/graemlins/roflmao.gif)
got these fenders to within about .5~1mm of [I]true. of course true, is a bit subjective here...
but true meaning how far off each section of both fenders varies from each other....
they're close. anyway, don't ask. for me, it has been somewhat of a monumental task.
so, i've got a lot more respect for Mark and Benji than before.

Agreed. I'm very anxious to see the final product! Make sure to post some beam output shots as well! Fantastic work. Never would've been quite so ambitious myself.

thanks guys.... i had to put down finishing resins a total of 3 times, but with the third application,
i was finally able to get the fenders to be virtual mirror images of each other. very close now.
also was able to get primer with the hardener on (third photo).
next the first block sanding with 220 and and repeat until they're as close to perfect as possible....
can't really tell in this photo,
but if you look really carefully (second photo) you'll be able to see (the fender behind appears as a lighter shade).
unfortunately, the contrast between the two pieces is very weak.
hope you all like the shape of the curve.![Wink](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/wink.gif)
