I saw a pic with an orange 968 cab, and was wondering if this could be original color. If yes, post some pics of cars with this color. How rare is it??

The only orange available was 1992's Coral Red metallic, code G7. This one year color is fairly rare with only 10 cabs and 6 coupes produced. It was an optional metallic for 1992.

I've never seen so many 968s together, was that some kind of club meet or something?

 

That was the 2006 (?) PCA 968 celebration held in Hershey PA. Don H. ran it and we had around 80 968s show up that year, a record which still stands. The coral cab came all the way down from Canada. Beautiful car.

Not a standard color, but one of the Turbo S cars was a paint to sample original Porsche 'blood orange' color.

Anybody know what the Porsche factory name is for a 968 coupe color that is like an aquamarine..is it called Amazon green or something else.

 

Vickie, there were a bunch of greens-aventurine, amazon, turquoise, mint, wimbledon that were offered on 968s.

 

Great event, that coral red car was stunning.

 

It's a water base colors call Amazone pearl green #L39A TU. will change from green to blue depending on litgh reflextion on it,was sunny when I took the pic so you should be able to see "both colors in it".
