Sweet looking car! Where did you get that front splitter?

That red light on the dash, I have no idea what it is. I don't think it's from the factory. On a coupe, there is a switch there for the rear defroster.

Nice, there was only one cab in North America produced in that color combo.

thanks guys!

I don't know the brand of the splitter, I got the car with it so decided to keep it since it looks good. I had to ditch the 's2000 type' rear spoiler though which I think you guys wont mind

Jeff, what is the official name of the interior color? I know its purple

went through the jap manual and the red light is actually factory, it has 'ext' inscribed on it and is the warning light for the cat.

I'm starting to enjoy the car, last two issues:
1. Tach
2. Loose rear view mirror

After using the car more, I haven't heard the screech come back so I think it's really just a matter of a little more tightening of the belt to be sure it doesn't come back.

Should I replace my wheels to cup2 17s or keep the 18s?

The stock 7.5" fronts in the cup II's are very hard to find...

The interior, and the top are in Magenta.

I put 18"s on my old cab. I liked the look but the ride was very harsh.

@stephen--Im considering a set from a 993 carrera...will that be a problem?

@jeff--thanks and looks like I will be getting the 17s as the 18s are really harsh.

Car looks great! Maybe another photo or two of the front end with that splitter?

Does that mean there's something wrong with the catalyst? Or do Japanese-market cars come with a factory-installed pet cat?

Is it loose where it's glued to the windshield, or loose at the ball joint?

Those wheels are unique, and very nice. Plus, black wheels look good on a silver car and I don't think you could get away with black cup2s, so keep these!

JDS and Arash, you are making it hard for me to decide on the wheels, i also love the LM's but the ride is so bad...but lets see, the cups are arriving in a couple of months and Im sure owner is willing to let me try first. If ride improves a lot then I might go for it but if not much then the 18s stays. I also wont be painting the cups black, just stock silver will do fine

JDS, the light doesnt turn on so I guess the cat (catalyst) is ok, no pet cat

the rear view mirror wont fit easily into the glued metal bracket, dont want to force it in because the ball joint is also loose, any ideas how to tighten it or should i just get a new one?

i love your wheels. the setup is unique... friggin' keep them.

can't think of anything else useful to add 'cept that i love the colors. love the black wheels on silver paint scheme... and suspect you're running wheel spacers ? nice. i'm about to install my 997, 12mm spacers when i do my rear pads and rotors in a couple more weeks.

p.s. (now i see the above posts in agreement). lol.

Is that an E30 M3 convertible I see in that garage? Wish we got those here state-side.
