The short answer. The whole car. Im at the point of putting it all together though. I stripped, cleaned, (polished the banana arms) the rear suspension, and went with polybronze bushings in the swing arms and uniball on the banana arms. The TT has new bearings and the transaxle is all cleaned up and painted. The front and rear bumper covers are patched and get primered on the weekend if time permits. I want the suspension, tt and transaxle bolted up by the end of Sunday. probably another 20 to 30 hrs to go before it makes big noise.

Hah, I wish my projects were fun like yours. Right now I'm replacing the door handle because it broke while I was installing new gaskets. I never realized one could slip the big gasket on from the small side, d'oh.

My main project with the red one is getting it out on the market. My main project with the blue one is getting it cleaned up so I can take pics and put it on the market.

My Spring is coming soon to do list
Change oil, Coolent flush, Spark plugs, brake/clutch fluid change, and possible trans fluid. In the past I have kept the car in my garage, but this year I was offered space in a friends garage while they spent the winter in Florida. I am delaying starting the project until they they come home in a couple of weeks.

Hope to have updates in the not too distant future. I would like to have the car back together to start some track driving by the end of the summer.

Okay, here's a new one that just popped up:

Intermittent ABS failure, together with intermittent soft brake pedal and long travel. I start the car and I have ABS (it definitely works, I've engaged it on purpose to test this), but while driving, the ABS light comes on and, of course, I then have no ABS (which I also confirmed). Also, as I'm driving, the pedal feels soft and has a lot of travel when I depress it the first time after not touching it for a while, however as soon as I release it, it feels normal, (very hard with little travel, and very easy to modulate). At that point, I can hold the pedal down very hard, and it does not lose any pressure, as I would expect with a failing master cylinder or a leak.

It was suggested to me that the ABS failure may be caused by a bad ABS speed sensor, which in turn could cause the ABS system to screw with the braking pressure, causing the weird pedal feel.

I'm really not sure about this, any ideas?

I also inspected the sensors visually. The front two sensors were pretty filthy with lots of metal shavings, apparently stuck on magnetically, which I cleaned off. However, all four sensors were very tight and did not appear to be damaged. This did not help.

I have photos, will post later :P
