Yes, Porsche made a few 968's with turbo engine. But the one in the add is not a turbo but a regular 968..

Ah ha, I though it seemed like a pretty weak ad for this kind of car.

Not to nitpick, but that's a non-streetable Turbo RS.

The Turbo S was a street model.

The Craigslist car has popped up in a couple different Craigslist locations.

there are guys here like Raj, who've done the impossible, building their stock 968s up to Turbo S spec and beyond.

180 mph cars and mods topping $60 k.

He's got it up on the 968 Facebook page, and is now claiming that it only has a turbo engine.

On "Graiglook" is saying that the motor was rebuilt to make it faster by a board member of PCA, on facebook he contredic himself by saying "he" did the motor LOL this man is a con artist but not a very good one otherwise he wouldn't try that stunt specialy on the 968 face book.

he emailed me back and admitted it's only a Turbo model; that he pasted an "S" up there so he could get "chicks."

Well, of course it's not a "Turbo model" either, god only knows what it is. No provisions appear to have been made to increase airflow, for one thing: no naca, nose slot at standard size.
