New Owner Introduction...
I just bought a Polar Silver '94 from the RL Classifieds, I'm sure you know the seller, and I'd thought I'd take a minute to introduce myself to the 968 Forum. After fixing a couple of minor items, I will be using this car as my daily driver. To tell you the truth, I had the car shipped from the east coast and it arrived 2 days after we left for vacation. So, I haven't actually seen the car in person. Anyway, I can't wait to get home to see it! (Although I'm not in too big a hurry as we are on Kauai for about 10 days!!!)
Anyway, this is my 8th Porsche and 4th water cooled over the last 25 years and I've loved them all. I've been very lucky to have had them all be reliable and I think I've taken them each of them on track at one time or another... I currently race a '95 325is in GTS2 with NASA, (as well as instruct), and with BMW Club and am very slowly building up a 912 vintage racer! As a certified old fart, I'll go to the 912 when I really slow down! LOL!!
Personally, I'm a middle school principal and really enjoy kids of this age. On the other hand, I'll be retiring in about 3 years and I'll devote even more time to my addiction! As you can tell I have a very understanding wife of 35 years!
Thanks for looking and I'm sure I'll have many questions for you and hopefully, in time, I'll be able to answer some about these wonderful cars!

Welcome aboard! Feel free to bring your questions here and we'll do our best to answer them.
I'd tell you to enjoy your car, but thats a foregone conclusion. These are well built, drama free cars (unlike the owners! lol).

are you any relation to Eric Krause ? he's a 968 guy up in spokane, washington area, terrorizing the tracks up thataway.
ok, i'm just guessin' from the way you put the question that i know the seller... he's the guy who won american idol or was runner up -- RIGHT ? and... the car is from Ft. Smith, AK area... but, i had no idea it was for sale.
if it's that car, oh God it's in almost new condition. super-mucho felicidades !!!

Not related to Eric....
purchased from Baltimore area... see post 8 above...
Bought as a daily driver, so it was never supposed to be perfect!
good stuff!
