The official Rennlist 968 'whatever happened to'
Jim968? He was from Asheville, North Carolina, was a great wit, and would often change his signature to another funny saying. My favorite was 'Pie R Squared? No, cornbread are squared, Pie R round'.
Who do you wonder 'whatever happened to'.
Who do you wonder 'whatever happened to'.

I did think it was a "whatever happened to" thread.
Guess this doesn't count posts on the Porschelist/Rennlist listserve activity.
Nor that silly "Lifetime Rennlist Member" moniker.
Or the 1998 A Stock SCCA National Championship in the 1995 968 w/M030 and 220, in the avatar.
Legacy info can be good ya know.

I prolly lost a bunch of posting energy when the intake camshaft for cylinders 4-5-6 on my 996 broke at a little over 36,000 and three months out of warranty. PCNA really didn't want to help. After a few discussions I ended up with PCNA covering 75% and I got the rest plus the oil change. I kind of soured on returning to another P-car. Now a Cayman could get me to change my mind. Or a co-drive in a '04 Anniversary 996 that could be autocrossed at the SCCA Solo Nationals.

I won in '98. Paul Kozlak won in '99. After that the S2000 messed up the P-car party. I was third in '96 and second in '97. If I am off by a place or two apologies. Cannot find the old links to that stuff.
