I agree that its very ugly. However I have no doubt that it provides significant downforce on the track. If anything it looks to me like he might need more splitter up front to balance it out.

Jim, how'd that adjustable carbon-fiber wing work out for you? Would it make any noticeable difference on a road car?

It definitely makes a difference. Without it I was unable to run a splitter up front. The front splitter by itself made the car far too loose in high speed corners. The adjustable rear wing enables me to balance it out perfectly, and I can now get through high speed corners faster than ever.

I doubt it would make a noticeable difference on a street car unless you frequently find yourself taking 80+ mph corners at the limits of adhesion.

Well that car is a Trackrat and for that I don't mind the overall look. I bet it's a hoot to drive. Anyone notice that they're using Traction control? I'm just asking about that in a couple of other threads. Looks interesting for high hp cars I think.
