Default Excellence magazine Reader's Sales Reports 968

Excellence printed the sale of a 94 M030 59K guards red/black coupe this month. Original paint, no chips, factory red stitching on doors and seats, LSD. The seller states that only 100 US cars came with M030. No mods, belts and rollers recently done. Sold for $19.8K 'a great find and a good deal'

Do we know this car?

I was wondering if it was going to be in the reader sales... I haven't picked up the issue yet (been trying to find it!). Do you mind Pm'ing me the details?

I don't have a scanner, but if I get a chance I'll visit a friend tomorrow and do so.

Damian, Thanks man! Don't make any special trips though. I've been hitting up Border's and Barnes & Noble. No dice. Not in Milwaukee or Atlanta yet...

Funny enough, there is an old time newsstore that consistently gets Excellence, Thoroughbred and Classic, Classic and Sportscar, and other car magazines at least three or four days before they hit B&N. Now that many of them are pushing ten bucks a pop I try to wait until B&N has them, since I get 10% off there. Plus a year or so ago NJ started charging tax on magazines . . .

B+N should have it in Milwaukee, I know I've gotten it from the one in Racine before. I don't go to town much but if I do so soon I'll check for you.

Wait, there was actually something NJ was not taxing?

As for the report - Is the 'only 100 M030' statement correct? Seems low.

As for waiting for Excellence to arrive... subscription, baby! Got it last week in the comfort of my mailbox.

$39K for a 89 944 cab with 27K miles on it!!! Wow!!! You did very well. Make sure you contact Excellence and tell them about it. Great news for the 4cyl community.

Good for Glenn, feel sorry for the buyer. How could you pay $39K for a 968?

They only made 16 944S2 cabs for the 1989 model year. Maybe he's talking about a 911 cab?

I didn't even notice that it was an 89....I'm sure it wasn't a 944 that went for that kind of money.
