Default New OEM exhaust?

Are they still available from Porsche? How much do they cost? I know the aftermarket ones are quite good, potentially better than OEM, but I'd like to compare options.

Regards,
Chris

I strongly doubt it. None of the aftermarkets exhaust are using heavy duty piping like oem units.

Went to porsche because I needed a new exhaust and the guy told me not to buy OEM because it was so expensive, which it was. Bought one from cargraphic, good quality, pretty good sound. 2 cents

Yeah but what you bought is quality TUV approved stuff, top notch. Not all exhausts are made equal.

Except for the weight, I think the stock exhaust is the highest quality exhaust you can get, in the US anyway. It fits perfectly... as though it were made just for this car!

Yes, I imagine exchange rates and shipping make some things less expensive this side of the pond. My original exhaust first failed at the front of the resonator, apparently a weak spot. The differences with the cargraphic are a smaller resonator and a bigger tailpipe. Makes a somewhat 'warmer' sound.

It may sound crazy but I have a full exhaust header back out of my 75K mile parts car. It was a southern garage kept car and is perfect if you might be interested. Shipping I bet I could arrange under $100 +/-

Cheers, Mike
