As a continued side question from my 968 cabriolet registry presentation at this year’s 968 celebration I was asked about the details of the X4 Speed Yellow cabriolets. Here you go:

10 Speed Yellow cabs produced for North American market
All 10 had V9 black tops
All 10 had black interiors
9 had code LT partial leather seats
1 had code VN leather seats with leatherette trim
All 10 had 6 speeds
All 10 were US emissions
5 were 94.5s, 5 were 95s
SY cab 1 – painted crest caps, 17” wheels (later style), hi-fi sound
SY cab 2 – limited slip, heated seat pkg., power seat pkg, 17” wheels, hi-fi
SY cab 3 – painted crest caps, pwr driver’s seat
SY cab 4 – no options
SY cab 5 – painted crest caps, heated seat pkg, body side moldings, power seat pkg
SY cab 6 – limited slip, heated seat pkg, headlight washers, 17” wheels, body side moldings, power seat pkg
SY cab 7 – 17” wheels, power driver’s seat, hi-fi, CD changer
SY cab 8 – painted crest caps, hi-fi
SY cab 9 – 17” wheels, power driver’s seat, hi-fi
SY cab 10 – hi-fi, CD changer

Sorry, strosek is number 6 and is also the one with leather seats. You can see in the other thread of the car being spotted that it still has its headlight washers. It was the only SY cab equipped with them.
