To me, if it was built in early 93 (February), is a 93 only color, has 93 only options, and 93 features, then it was born a 93. The "R" in the VIN is the only thing that indicates a 94 so to me that is a reVIN. The law let them do it.

While at garage working on GTS took photo of 928 CS engine bay which shares garage space along with few other Porsches. This is 4th CS made. Originally German registered, later imported into Sweden and now in Finland.

Does anyone here have a car with the label in the position here, and if so what's on the label? I've never seen one on a USA car. I just have two rivets there, maybe I'm missing something exciting.

Its metal plate which has VIN and some axle weight etc info stamped to it IIRR. ROW cars made for EU and some other countries got at production line it but for example Japanise and Middle East models did not. Similar plate were used in all EU model Porsches and must be there for car to be ok into some EU country registration. Its not easily available as a spare from Porsche so importing cheap Japanise LHD cars into countries like Finland is little "exiting".
