I'm looking for a part number for this part that broke near the oil cooler. I think some sort of heat shield attaches to it. My mechanic gave this to me and asked me to check with the dealer but they are no help.

I think the 968 has an upper and lower heat sheild near the oil cooler, where the oil filter screws in. This bracket is for the lower shield.

I may be able to get the bracket welded but, as you may be able to see in the one photo (if they attach) , the one part is totally missing.

Does anyone know what this is? Or, even better, have an extra one lying around so I don't have to wait for the part to come from Germany?

Heat shield for exhaust right above oil filter housing.

I thought it might be that part too; I looked it up, previously. But, it looks a little different. I think it may be the oil cooler bracket, which sits below this part.
