Question Cabriolet Rear Flap Pad / Color Label

I am looking to repair or replace the center soft pad fixed to the underside of the rear flap (trunk lid) that was slightly damaged in removing the 3rd brake light. Is the material spec known? Is a source known?

Number two item is to replace the factory color designation label (silver foil rectangular shape) for Guards Red located on the drivers side firewall. Silly little things, but to keep all in order they become important.

I don't know and I don't know, but thanks for signing up as a member before your first post-this is the best Porsche site known to man, and plenty of well moderated 968 content.

I don't think you can get them new and they are very fragile. I was able to get a piece of clear plastic sticker material and placed it over mine to protect it. If your's is already ruined you should be able to find a used on a parts car. Red is the most popular color. And then use the same approach I suggested above to attach it. Oh, and welcome to the site.

For the trunk lid lining you could try some of the Porsche wrecking yards.
GAD
DC automotive
Oaklanoma forgien

You could also try sunset Porsche for a new one.

Item one is available from Porsche but the texture pattern has changed from the original so it might look awkward if you replace just one section.

Thank you all for help with the trivia -- now to scour for parts cars.
