Hey guys,

If there is interest, I would be more than happy to do a splitter for you guys also

I can make it out of whatever you would like, but I would highly recommend something along the lines of ABS/HIPSs(high impact plastics). They keep their shape with little to no deflection at high speeds, but are definitely forgiving when encounterinng speed bumps, steep driveways, road debris, etc....They are also UV/gas/oil resitant.

The good thing is you guys can pretty much pick what you want it to look like. The amount of interest will dictate the cost, but to give you a rough idea, I could keep the cost under $300 per unit if there is interest for at least 20 units

Just a thought....and there is no rush. Unless the wife kills me, I should be here for quite sometime

Feel free to ask any questions, thank you for your time.

Patrick,
I would be in for one.
I have already destroyed 3, whats one more.

$300 is a great price point.

+1 add me to the list....

? - does this replace the "batwing" as well, or does it just mount to that?

Factory Turbo RS looks identical to the factory Turbo S front splitter. The diff. is the RS splitter has a Kevlar Belly pan attached to it (its one big piece).

This is a question for Patrick, but I think I can shed some light. Right now, both the V1 and V3 splitters for the 951 replace the batwing and are made of an abs that won't crack like fiberglass. The abs is black, even under the surface, so if you scratch it, it's hard to tell(unless you paint it something other than black). I imagine he will do the same for the 968.

I haven't purchased from CPR yet, but it looks like Patrick makes some good stuff and the folks on the 951 forum will vouch for him. Check out his site, he's real open to suggestions on future projects.

I need a front splitter for the race car. Something like the V3. I would buy two. When can you ship?

Is this project a go? I need a front splitter before club race season starts, at least for me, in May.
