My new CS
Back-end of last year I bought a 968CS. It had, had a year or so, of budget maintenance. So I put it through the UV makeover program.
New KW V3 suspension with adjustable top mounts.
New Power Flex bushes through out.
New fuel lines (expensive fix as gear box has to be dropped).
New brake lines (SS), through out.
New brake pads.
New steering rack.
New ABS sensors and wiring loom.
Referb'd 17" cup 2's
All belts replaced.
New alternator.
Cams and sprockets and chain checked, all fine. Will probably replaces the chain at next service just to be sure.
Tensioners etc replaced.
Normal service stuff.
All that is left is to repair the side bolster on drivers seat as it is a bit worn. Any one know of someone who can retrim CS seats?
I'd like a respray to bring it to show-room spec, but not top of the list TBH.
I bought the car for 7.5k and spent 7k on it to bring it in line with my car treatment standards. Love the car, feels quicker than my fathers 993 c2, and holds the road like st on a blanket. Looking forward to going up north to my parents so i can give it some.
Will post pics later.
