James, try Southbound. They did my sports seats in leather, not cheap but they are the best. Nice car Whereabouts in London are you? Didnt you used to have a 911 with speedlines, I am sure I remember reading a post about you reconditioning them?

Tomorrow is the first outing my 968. Will be going to Silverstone to give it a good trashing. Then its off to have a gearbox linkage ball joint replaced, Drivers seat re-trim, MO30 anti-rollbars, and the pesty KW v3 suspension issues sorted.

Nice CS. These cars are so very rare in the US.

While deleting the rain gutter on the 911 looks awesome ... just wondering why someone living in a wet climate (like the UK) would do that since the rain gutter actually does prevent rain water from running into the side windows?

Anyway, good luck with both cars (can't have enough P-cars).

Ever since the Ruf Yellow Bird did this it's been a tuner's trick to gain a few mph at the top end-I don't think anyone doing this mod is taking his/her car out a lot in the rain anyway.

The top collar just touches the bush mounts under certain conditions. The fix is basically to grind a small part of the mounting braket. EMC are looking after my car and they have done it many times.

On my car its the top spring collar that touches the bolt that holds the bush mount on...Ive already done "some" grinding,,, Maybee a bit more is needed.....

On a friend's car we fitted one washer (2mm thick IIRC) between the collar and the top mount to increase clearance.

Nice car James

Thom.
I think youve got the "wrong end of the stick". Were talking about the REAR shocks, not the fronts...
There isnt any top mounts on the rears.....Just the bodywork...
