Just curious. i did a search and didn't get much.
I did find out the Limited Slip code is p-08..
But, did most of these come with a limited slip, or is it the other way around.
I'll be buying a salvaged 968 late winter. And wondering if I'm going to have a hard time finding one.

LSD is option 220.
I have seen more cars without LSD than with, in factory trim.

Less than 10% of 968's left the factory with the LSD option from what I have seen but don't quote me on that. There were way more factory specified LSD equiped cars sold in Europe than in the US which probably reflects the poor weather we get - Well we can't have everything I keep telling myself (second hand benefits LOL)

But even today it's hard to find a good LSD equiped 968 here in Europe! Most were CS and Sport models are now tracked to death ... If not we pay a good premium!

Based on the registry statistics, I would say about 20% of the NA 6 speed 968s have LSD, still rare.

You always can put in a Guards or Quaife aftermarket unit for not a whole lot of money.

The pricing survey on 968.net showed a much higher percentage; I'm not sure how accurate it was (some cab people said they had MO3O . . .) but it had 39%of coupes and 27% of cabs equipped with LSD.
