It's amazing how the 'solid' colors can come out, you can really work the paint. I almost looks like a different car from when the previous owner had it.

Steve, it was amazing to see what you were able to do to the car. Everytime I think I have seen the best from you, you raise the bar again. What you were able to do to the plastic window is beyond belief. It still boggles my mind that my plastic window looks brand new.
I guess, you know a lot more tricks than I knew of .
RB is one of those colors that gets affected a LOT by direct sunlight which makes it hard to capture its true color. I will see if I can get some pictures in some clouds. That is when you really get to see the true color.
Thanks again for a wonderful detail. BTW, thanks for showcasing my car as car of the week on the website. Its an honor to make it with all the exotic machinery you work on.

What a car and the paint looks perfect! Do you have a shot of the plastic rear window?

Raj, is that another set of new wheels??

Raj,

Thanks for the opportunity - it was a real pleasure to work on your car! As Damian stated, single stage colors are great to work with (except washing out the pads after you're done to remove the color transfer!) and the rear window was my personal challenge for this go round...I knew it could be cleaned up and just had to get aggresive enough to make it happen!

The true color is beautiful, and it's very hard to get a camera to catch it correctly, hopefully Raj can get a few good "color" shots so everyone can see the real RB.

The Speedline Alesios are a great addition and really set the car off, Raj has great taste!

Trevor, I will post some pictures of the window.
These are the final set of wheels for my car. After trying multiple sets, I find this set to be the one that gives me everything I was looking for. It has the period correct 5 spokes and enough bling to offset the color. I think it accents the color very well.
Finally a set I can say I am 100% happy with.

I like the look of clouds reflecting in that sky-blueish paint.

This time around I put about 8 hours into it. From when Raj got the car to this stage of the game, I probably have around 40 hours in sanding/polishing the paint. I don't know if Raj would dare count the hours he has into the actualy restoration of the mechanical aspect...

Steve, there are a few things you never count, one of them is the receipts and the other is the amount of hrs we spend on our cars .
Thanks for the kind words everyone.

I like the center caps in black with the polished wheel - very different.

Uhh... I kinda like the whole thing actually...
