Default My 968 Turbo conversion now complete.....awesome

This has been a quick 4 month project, but the results are awesome. Special thanks needs to go out to a few people as without them, none of this would have been possible.

-Caster951, was there from the beginning and has as many hours in this car as I do. Thanks Shane.

-Boost feen, Sent me numerous pictures, and wiring diagrams, and spoke to me on the phone for hours helping me with the wiring conversion. Thanks Shawn.

-XSBoost90, Did an awesome job with molding in the hood scoops and painting the hood, bumper cover and splitter. Thanks Dan.

The car still needs to be tuned and a few bugs worked out, but it is running great. The car took a top 35 award out of 390 Porsches this past weekend at the Porsche's to Oxford show, so it seems that the hard work has paid off. I'll post more details and pics of the project when I get some more time. Now it’s time to catch up on some sleep.

Very nice and congrats!!! How many horse do you think you are putting out? It looks like you kept the 16 valve head.

Jeff, I think the Lindsey Intake threw you off. Look at the distributor cap and cam pulley housing, you will get your answer .

Thanks Raj. So far so good on the engine. No problems getting it to build oil pressure. I just need to get the car tunned before I can start playing.

Sweet. A couple of my friends have American Iron Mustangs and they want me to come and play. I figure the only way I can do that is go the Turbo route....

Kevin I hope you don't mind me posting these but I think all your hard work needs to be shown to everybody, I know you put a lot into this car. I'm pretty sure you're probably passed out catching up on sleep for the next few days though

Great work Kevin! Parking my car near yours makes mine look like a parts car though

You did a turbo front bumper and hood ducts in that time too? Wow, it looks great!

How's it compare to your 944? Hopefully the 968 is better in every way...
