968 ClubSport Value?

I have it on very good authority that a nice example in the US recently changed hands for ~$65,000. I am not at liberty to provide further details. I know of several collectors who are actively looking for one of these.

Perhaps. The key to the sale I mentioned was both original condition and super-low mileage. Those are the types of cars that command a premium. The Rennlist car is nice, but clearly modified and has no doubt seen some track time. I also wonder if it is a true Euro-spec imported CS or a US spec 968 with CS OEM parts and graphics added.

I've read that there were two options for 968CS seats:
Part Number 964 521 501 00 Cup Seat
or
LH bucket part number 944 521 003 60 and
RH bucket 944 521 004 60
Also that they were covered in black corduroy cloth, similar to the RS America.
I've never seen any.

They look great, and they'd be perfect for tracking the car, but unless your really skinny they'd be tough to live with if it's your only car. I had some seat time in one at a trackay in the UK a few years ago.

Man, those are some pricey Recaro seats (i.e., $10K premium). My '94MY is not worth a whole lot more than that seat premium!
