And is there a similar quality DIY here on RL or Pelican that I can use to ensure that the Timing / Balance shaft belts are times / adjusted correctly?
I've seen this on Clark's garage

Yes, you can remove the tensioner without removing the cams.
Yes, you can compress the valve springs but should be extremely careful. I have the cam tool but some people have had success being careful by just using saddles.
Pressure line can be removed with the cam in place, it is designed with an angle for that reason.
