Correct. Antenna is at the rear of the roof on all 968 coupes. Cabs, I'm guessing in the windshield?

My car's PO told me that the cab and coupe windshields are non-interchangeable. I think he said the cab windshields are very expensive...

Makes sense that the windshields are not interchangeable when you figure that the cab has a different angle to it (more sloped back).... well at least this is true with the 944's... does the same hold true with 968's?

Really? That sucks. They're still available for the 951 LSD transaxle. I had my 3rd gear replaced with new porsche parts a couple of years ago.

Not so sure. Windshield antenna's are the only ones available now and if I remember, a few people do have them on their cabs. I think mine cab has one as well.
I will confirm.

The cabrio windshield is 2" shorter than the coupe version, and since only ~6K 944 cabs plus however many 968 cabs were built, it's not a common replacement part.

Too bad my old mechanic "couldn't find" my old gear set after he swapped out 3rd~6th gears!

After 3+ years, he has still never contacted me that he found them...guess that's why he's my OLD mechanic, and not my current mechanic!
