Front Pads: Vibration Dampers AND Damping Plates?
Just discovered my front brake pads are missing the required dampers, which explains why they sound like a school bus. I have PET on my home PC so I can see the exploded diagram w/ part numbers, but can anyone tell me exactly what I need? I see both vibration dampers AND damping plates, plus 2 different part numbers for the damping plates. My car is non- M 030. Thanks in advance.

DakDak, its a sticker with the dampner on it that you need to applyu to the back of each pad. The reason for different pads is that the piston sizes are different to compensate for direction/balance and proportioning within the pad.

Each brake caliper needs 2 bigger and 2 smaller damper plates, hence two part numbers.....in total 16. The best is, to take of the protecting paper off, stick them in their slot and after insert the braking pad. They will self glue...

I've tried searching for pad damper info but have not found a clear answer to the part numbers or quantity. Would someone be able to post the exact part numbers and quantity for each caliper? Car is non M030 1995 968.
