Default Dyno day anyone?

I had spoken to the owner's of Paddock Performance a while back. They came highly recommended by Rich, Jason, Reno and a bunch of other folks. I was thinking maybe we setup a dyno day with them. I would love to see where our car's stand. Mine is 100% stock, save for the airbox mod. I want to start with a baseline, so I plan to put the factory airbox back, use a factory filter and start from there.
This way we can start quantifying each mod. It could help everyone who wants to go down this path.
Let me know how many of us would be interested. The place is in Haverstraw, NY. We can pick a nice summer morning/afternoon. They have a dynapack if I remember correctly.

Hi Raj,

I think the guys at Paddock Performance would like to do a dyno day for the 968/944 crowd. They have a Mustang dyno at present.

Awesome Rich. I should post on the 944 boards as well and see if we can get a party going.
Mustang would work fine as well.
I will be calling them tomorrow.

Sounds like fun. If someone can bring a video camera and post it on Youtube that would be great! I'd love to see you guys and your cars.

Awesome, I will have more details soon. If anything, we should look at it as a way to see what tune our cars are in. This way, we can plan mods based on our baseline runs. I would be interested to see how Steve's car does with his exhaust and chip mod.
Lord, we would love to have you over .
Doc, as always, it would be a pleasure.
Blue, don't worry. Its not a contest. Just an educational event .
I will find out how many people would be ideal for such an event.
Jason, chee thanks! Now everyone will be able to see what monster gains can be had with turbocharging.

Raj,

I'll have you know my car is stock...except for we switched out, or replaced.

Now, if I could only get the NASA scrutineers to believe that...I might have a chance at my first race!

Yes Jason, 2600 lbs and 390 plus rwhp with matching torque does sound stock to me.
Right on!

Yes. Donuts and coffee (on me) in the a.m.

Post-dyno BBQ or pizza party at Paddock.

Call me one night this week and we can try to come up with a date and a schedule (i.e., start time, number of pulls per car, etc.).

P.S.: Raj, you're in charge of getting Damian to show up!

You definintely won't have to put your car on the dyno to join in the fun and party with us. I say, "the more the merrier". Kids are welcome too.

Great chance to meet people on the board and renew old friendships!

Rich, I spoke to Damian last night and promise to bring him as well. He has been MIA for too long.
I will drop you a line tonight. I spoke to the service manager but rather not post any dates/details until we speak.
So far this is what we are looking at.
They can handle 6-10 cars with each car getting 3 pulls. They open early so we can start our party early on a Sat.
Regards.
