So I'm changing my oil today and have three rags placed under the filter and I removed the airbox for clearence. I start turning waiting for the flow of hot Mobil 1 to burn my hand and......nothing. I didn't know that K&N filters don't leak. Sweet. No more towels.

To me that would be concerning that I didn't have oil spilling out of the oil filter...

It has a flap to prevent oil from comming out if the filter is removed. If you stick a screwdriver in it the oil comes out.
