you want a Colgan bra. fits MUCH better (looking at that white 968's driver side fender with the 'waves' in it). I remove it every six wks. or so to let the paint breath and drop some wax...Mine courtesy of Performance Products/Automotion out of Van Nuys, CA.

I bought a factory bra for my 95 model and it fits like a freaking glove! I have never had any problems with it flapping but I've only used a couple of times during local rallys. I tried it once on the Autobahn but it fills up with air passing into the headlight holes so I can't use it for really high speed driving. Great for not-so-fast driving!

Well, to each his own but I think those bra's are just plan ugly. That is why you don't see them anymore. They kind of scream "eighties" to me. You can't even get them for new cars as everyone has moved to the clear protection which I have on my MB ML and Audi A4. They look great and you just don't see them. I realize they don't provide quite as much protection as the old bra's but I've seen so many problems with the old style coming lose or rubbing and damaging the paint that there is almost as much risk of them causing problems as preventing. IMHO.

I don't disagree about the look. I do know this - a fellow PCA member has a pristine 1991 928GT with over 160k. Several years ago he won the Preservation class at Parade. When he takes the car on long highway trips he carefully installs the bra, removing it each night. He also uses the bra, reinforced with some tape, for Drivers Ed events. The front of the car is as flawless as a 160k car could possibly be.
