Dan, its a very simple swap. All you need is the following tools.
Sockets: 10mm, 13mm, 17mm
Wrench: 17mm
Front:
Remove under belly pan and loosen the air deflectors using 10mm socket.
Remove 17mm nut holding swaybar to control arm
Remove 13mm bolts holding droplinks to subframe.
The front swaybar should drop. Installation is reverse of removal.
Rear:
Remove 17mm nut/bolt holding drop links.
Remove 13mm bolts holding swaybar to torionbar carrier.
Installation is reverse of removal.
Make sure you use new busings with your swaybars.
good luck.

Thanks, Raj...good to-the-point directions. I've not done this yet as my 968 is supposed to have had this added as an option. I need to measure them.

Thanks for the quick response
Raj,
Thanks...how long will the swap take and is it ok to put the car on jack stands? Does the sway bar "load up" when taking the weight off of the suspension???
I did this once before...I was the helper, but its been almost 4 yrs and I do not remember the exact proceedure.
I have a White 968 with Black over Grey interior. It has 54 K on it and I am taking it to the track for the first time this weekend. 3 days of guy time. My wife is awsome.

Cheapest place would be Sunset porsche at 800-346-0182. Don't ask why I know the number by heart :P.
Swap should take approx 30-45 mins for each side after you have jacked up the car. The car is completely safe on jack stands. Always use the best jackstands since you are putting your life on the line. I always use 6 ton jacks and jack stands all around.
