Only one headlight opens..How to get access?
When I switch on my headlamps, only one of them will go open.
Is there an easy fix to this,I haven't looked into the issue yet.
WHat can it be? Relays? Motor?
Can I use 944 parts to fix it?

It could be a bad motor. Every so often the motors go bad. You should also make sure that the levers are not jammed. 944's use one motor whil 968's use one on each side. Not sure if they are the exact same.

Mine started to get stuck so WD-40 came to the rescue. Works fine now. Try having someone operate the lights and stand next to the light thats not working. Listen for the motor when the lights are turned on. Then you can see if you need a new motor or not.

Check ALL fuses and relays before replacing anything. It worked fo me but I have forgotten what actually caused it. Mine was actually just a loose fuse or relay and all it took was reseating it
good luck

Also look at the linkage. There are a couple of ball and socket joints in there. If one has come loose, then it won't come up either, even though everything else is fine. Is is a small possibility.

Make sure the linkage is OK. On the 928 (maybe similar???) if a c-clip comes off and only one headlight comes up, the arm that comes loose can punch a nasty hole in your radiator. Hopefully, the 968 is better than this. Bears checking though.
If only one comes up, the motor sounds OK. However, I've seen some headlamps jam on the fender (or underneath) and not come up. Make sure nothing's impeding it's action.

Had a quick look at it today.. How is it possible to get access to this area? Any instructions online?
Both lamps have light, but only driver side opens.
It seemed very hard to get access. Is there a way to open lamp manually?
I checked the obvious fuses in the fuse box, they seemed fine. Are there any special number I should check for pass side headlamp?

Yes, the top of the motor has a cap. Remove the cap and turn the motor manaullay. next time you turn the headlights on and off the light will retract back to its bottom position.
You should be able to slide your hand behind the headlight once you have pulled the triangular latch that holds the headlight to the linkage. The piece is on the inside fender. Pull it and pull the headlight up.
