Default 968 Shop Manuals

Are the 968 shop manuals all inclusive (i.e. I understand the 944 manuals were updated, so if you had an S2, you needed all prior manuals for a complete set)?

Also, how much should one expect to pay for a set of 968 manuals and what are some good sources? I'm monitoring eBay right now.

Thanks,
John

Sunset Porsche has them at a good price. The manuals cover everything you will need to work on 968's.

Thanks,

Yes John, you will need all the 944 and the 968 manuals to have the comlete set. Not to push any legal buttons; if you search several of the 968 only forums you may just find a PDF version to down load .

Hey guys,

Thanks for the info. My local Porsche dealership claims the 968 manuals are all inclusive (i.e. don't need the 944 set). Now I know I have to also buget for the 944 set to have a "complete" set.

968rz, thanks for the PDF suggestion. Legal issues aside, I think I've seen a set of those before and they're basically pictures of each page. Therefore, there would be no capability to search for specific text within the document. Granted, a major difference in price, but I think I'd like a set that I can keep in my garage and layout on my workbench while getting myself into trouble.
