Default Deleting Airbag Fault Code

I understand that a Bosch KTS300 "Hammer" is needed to clear the Airbag Warning light on the dash of my 968...

Is there any other way to do this? The nearest Porsche dealer is a 2 hour drive, and I really don't want to pay them to clear a code, or buy a "Hammer" for $2,000.00...

Any info is appreciated!

Not on a 968. Bosch Hammer is your only way.

There is a way to permanently disable that warning light --- but be forewarned that the warning light is there for a reason:

Doug Boyce's free Bosch Hammer software for the 964 and 993 should work with the airbag control unit in the 968. The hardware spec (ISO-9141:1989) and the communications protocol is the same, you would just need to add an entry in the config file for the motronic "M" version number.
