hmmm...they only built FOUR and one is owned by Paragon Products, and last I heard the other is owned by a S. African race team. So, that only leaves two.

Well, this is not one of the four factory cars.
As stated in the ad it was built by an independant German workshop on a spare factory shell.

Some independants like Freisinger have strong links with the factory - I am not sure the average John Smith could visit Porsche and casually pick a 968 TRS tub off the shelf.

There was another tub in flordia as well. I remember speaking to the guy not too long back who is building it.

The Red 968TRS that pops up from time to time is/was in New Orleans at a local dealer of high line cars. Last I heard it was still here.

Name of dealer is Rennsport. From their old website they are/were a highline Porsche shop that restored some really nice cars such as 935's with history, IROC's, RS's etc.

I believe that the car was once listed on Lindsey's Website for $75,000 but I'm pretty sure that he was listing it for the NOLA dealer. You may send them an email if you're seriously looking for the car.
