Raj and I picked up the new 944 Turbo track car this morning, and I had a blast driving it the 50 miles home to NJ. We're now on the slippery slope to Driver's Ed events, and more!

Damian had the pleasure to drive it home. I just drove ahead of him and admired the car and all the looks it was getting from the cool decals. Looks like a nice clean straight example to start with. I think we did well because this car is already setup for DE's. I will take some snapshots if and when Damian decides to drop it at my place
.
It requires a new oil pan gasket and maybe a few others things. I will get back with initial inspection. I might also do rod bearings while I am in there. These cars are famous for spinning #2 rod bearing. Depending on the oil pan design, I might also add a baffle to it.
Boy, the list is growing already!

I just received the aluminum three piece cross member from Lindsey so that I can drop the pan without as much pain. Looks nice and might be a good idea if you plan to drop the pan anyway.

Congrats, do you have a list of your DE toys already on there? I would also recommend the baffle as a friend of mine just put one in there after a spun bearing at the track.
