Default Euro Clears pricing and web address for 968

OK, so I got some correspondence from klearz regarding our lenses....pricing looks really good but we'll have to find a set of the original ambers in order to have them get measurements off them.

http://klearz.com/968.html

Let me know what you think....

Thanks!

I actually have a set of the Amber lenses (the ones designed to replace the front bumperettes) from Schatz that are not installed yet. Getting this set in clear would be great. Let me know if I can help.
Thanks.

jocjo--if we send your set to klearz they will need them for about 3 weeks so that they can take measurements, etc. The person over there that I have been dealing with is tinastjean@hotmail.com. She is the person who set up the 968 page on the website. If you would like to contact her regarding what the deal is I will pay your $10 deposit and figure out a way to help you pay for the clear set once they are made.

Let me know!

I'll go ahead and shoot her an email and let you know what I find out and we can work out the details...

I'm confused by the tems set and each. At (5 People) $95 for the set (left AND right) I would be in without a second thought.

For one person bying a set : 235$
for 2 ppl 200$ each
for 3 ppl 175$ each
for 4 ppl 125$ each
for 5+ ppl 95$ each

Shamus, I am 99% sure that a set means 2 lenses. I would imagine Jocjo will update once he hears back from the woman over at Klearz. We are well over 5 people interested here alone, not to mention at 968.net and 968forums.com. I will front up the $50 deposit required for them to make 5 sets, and that way if they suck then I'm out at worst the $50 deposit. Stay tuned.

Boost--you may want to PM jocjo about his. I think he is going to graciously donate his for 3 weeks for the measurements needed for the clear templates. I would think if we like the clears then he would part with his amber euro lenses.

I've been emailing back and forth with Tina from Klearz.com and I think we may have a problem.
They have asked me to send my amber euro lens (and just the lense) without the housing. I'm not sure if I can actually remove the lense without damaging it. Also what Klearz is offering is a sale of just the lenses, not the housing, so someone who does not already have the Euro lenses would not be able to change to the Euro Clears (this is of course assuming that I can actually change the lenses without damaging them).
If anyone has any idea of how to remove and/or replace the lense from the turn signal housing without damaging it let me know. (For some reason I recall that I had to have the whole unit replaced when replaceing a cracked lense in the past)

Let me know if anyone is still intered. I'm assuming that interest may drop considerably since the whole unit (lenses plus housing, etc.) is not included.

Thoughts?

Thanks.

Yes, jocjo....if this is the case I was definitely mislead as I am sure that the lenses and housings were not supposed to be seperated from each other, and I was told that a plug and play would be the result....I wonder why they wouldn't be able to mold the housings if they have to mold the new lenses out of plastic anyhow?

Let us know what you find out [i.e if they can make the housings as well, even if the price has to go up a bit].

Thanks for the input and the offer to lend your lenses for the molds.

Well they can make the housings as well but it will cost a bit more. The problem is that I need to seperate the lense from the housing without damaging either one. Does anyone know if this can be done?

It would appear as though this person in the UK is currently selling 968 Euro clear lenses.
