Default Thinking of Gauges

I'm thinking to put in some gauges...ones that give more than a line, or tick mark, to determine what's going on.

I was thinking of Oil Temp and Water Temp and a Hot Lap Timer. Would there be any glaring omissions that I forgot?

I was thinking of having them mounted where the radio and cubby/clock went...any thoughts on the placement? Too low? I won't be looking at them all the time, so I thought it would be OK to put them down there.

I really don't feel like going with pillar mounted gauges.

Greiman on the other board custom makes the insert for the cubby, I'd check that out-looks nice.

Jason,

Is the car back yet?

Call me and let me know when I can check out the cage. I'll p.m. you numbers if you don't already have them.

Thanks.

I just might go that route.

But, I might remove that whole console, too. The radio is gone, the clock is gone, the cubby is gone.

Just the frame is left, with a few switches dangling around.
