Default Oil in Coolant Again!

I replaced the gasket 2 years ago at the oil cooler housing and thought it was residual stuff that would show up in the coolant reservoir since I couldn't get it perfectly clean...but it looks like it has reappeared. The car doesn't overheat, no froth in the oil (dipstick or under the oil fill cap). Just wondering:

Can I use the OPRV itself to align things? and should I use sealant with the gasket?

I hope it's not the headgasket!

Thanks - Bo

Isn't that the classic sign of a blown headgasket ?

Sorry,

Jason

Bo, it is quite easy to bind the OPRV when installing it. You can buy the alignment tool from Baum tools and its only $20 or so. I suggest buying the tool to align. I would start by doing all the O'rings and seals in the OPRV area and see what happens.

Thanks guys for replying. I will take this route first before considering the headgasket and check out Baum tools. - Bo
