Well, some 968 guys here in the northeast would like to meet you and see your car on the track at a D.E. At the beginning of next year check out the D.E. schedules for our region, maybe we can plan to get together at a D.E. at Lime Rock or Watkins Glen in the Spring. I think you would really like Watkins in the Finger Lakes region of upstate New York. Big, fast track.

You can locate the schedule on the Jersey Shore (PCA) region's web site - "Dale's D.E. Calendar". Any idea as to when you might be planning your trip here? I suppose it's contingent on when they finish the car in California. Almost 2 years is waaay too long a wait.

I can see where a cool suit would be kind of mandatory equipment for performance driving in P.R. Keeping the engines and brakes at acceptable operating temps must be tough ... no problem heating up your tires (but can tires last for more than one event?).

Rich, you'll have to plan to attend the 968 Celebration-Alberto has made it twice, all the way from PR. It'll be great if he can have the car here next time.

I understand that in addition to the 968 celebration, John D. has a Rennlist gathering in Hershey which I should also plan on attending.

Hi Damian, nice to hear from you again:

After waiting for way too long I'm looking forward to have the car ready in the next couple of months, but I have been promise a lot of things before.

Since the car is already in the states I might as well enjoy the race track in CA and then the east coast for next year. After so much effort it will be nice to meet old and new friends with the same interest in cars.

I will check the site and plan around it.

Hi to all:

Can someone post the result of yesterday Street Touring race in Puerto Rico. I want all of you to see how a 968 can do better time than BMW E-36, RSX, Subarus, Neon RT-4, etc. I don't know how to post it. My old 968 won the class T-2 in the race, even after been black flag for hitting another car. Someone might be interested. I still remember the satisfaction of outbreaking a lot of other cars.
