Default 968 TurboS factory style hood scoops

Where can I buy a pair of 968 TurboS factory style hood scoops? I remember someone selling them but I lost the contact information. I also want to paint my rear calippers to match the big reds installed in the front. Any recommendation? Thanks.

If you mean the naca ducts, I have a pair which I could sell you. I'm not using them.

Yes Jason, I mean the naca ducts. Are yours a factory replica? If so, I'll buy them. Let me know the price. Thanks.

I'll contact my mechanic and try to pick them up when I go there this weekend.

Let me make sure I/he still has them.

TurboCab, Jason probably bought those from www.Fitzgeraldracing.com. They are based out of Australia and have fiberglass pieces for all the mods to the mimic the turbo S.
The original ducts were made out of metal and came as part of a complete hood. How is the rest of the car coming?

Raj:
I finally completed all the installation. The only thing left is the heat shield for the brake booster. Last wekkend, I fire up the car for the first time in 2 years. After some tweeking with the start up enrichments, the engine fire up. Initially there is noise from the lifters (expected), but after aprox 2 minutes the noise gone and the engine was running smooth and quietly. First I was a bit nervous because I did all the work myself, engine assy, Tec 3 installation etc. and I'm not a professional mechanic, but so far everything is good. The next step is get the car to the road and adjust the tunning as best as possible. Then go to the Dyno.

I'm a little disapointed with the TEC 3 user interface program. May be since I used to work with industrial apllications (PLC's), I'm a bit uconfortable with it. Contrary as some people think, there is no magic button in the tuning wizard that can fire up the engine. The wizard only gives you a base line enrichment, but there is others parameters that needs to be entered in order to fire up the engine.

Let me know about your projects. Can you PM me your phone #?

Hey guys, www.speed-6.com also sells these ducts.

I'm also searching for somebody who can powdercoat my rear calipers.

Tubo cab,

I'll locate the hood scoops and get in touch with you once I have them.

I would love to get the hood exhaust vent for mine as well as a couple of NACA ducts. I thought I had a source but it didn't pan out

Something I have been debating with myself as well. I have the air splitter on the front (purchased from Raj), and the 968 Turbo-look rear wing. My 968 is being repainted now as I write this.

But, I decided not to add the NACA ducts because I am not convinced I need whatever airflow they offer, and I don't want the road grime. Perhaps I will regret the decision one day and have to repaint the hood all over again.

I have thought about adding the intercooler duct at times but kinda like the turbo S clean lines. The piece is extremely functional for an intercooler mounted in my location but its one of those things.
My hood is the original turbo S hood and that is how they built them at Porsche motorsports. The drivers side NACA duct mates with the airbox and gives it a ram air effect and keeps the intake setup sealed. That is not my current setup and I have all the parts to make it sealed. Hopefully, this winter I will have it done. It should add an additional 8-10hp as per the dyno guys. There is too much heatsoak from the intercooler to the intake filter right now. That would be free hp, but will cost me money to get it setup, lol.
