I was told in the 944 forums that you are are the one to talk to on the subject of custom rods/pistons for a 3.0L 16v S2 engine.
The idea is fairly simple - take an S2, lower the compression, drop in a turbo package and have a 3.0L DOHC turbo. However the only hitch so far is lowering the compression. I have been told that I will need either custom rods or pistons to do the job. Any information you (or anyone else for that matter) could give on the subject would be greatly appreciated.
