Default Standard Wheels?

I am purchasing a 1994 Cab and the window sticker states 17” Light Alloy Wheels, cost $1378. Pictured is what is on the car. Correct?

No. The window decal is referring to the wheel known as Cup II. Those on the car are a newer wheel and what I call Boxster Turbo Twist. There may be a more correct name. And are those in the picture 18"?

As mentioned, the wheels you have are likely from a Porsche Boxster. Unknown what their width and offset is, but you can see the proper width and offset for the proper cup 2 wheels in the image of the wheel size below. A lot of of 96 817 inch wheels disappeared because they were in demand. Note that the front wheels are different width (7.5" vs. 7" and 65 mm offset versus 55 mm offset for the 7 inch wide wheel) than the much easier to find front wheels on a 911 of similar vintage.

There are serial numbers embossed on one of the spokes on the backside of the wheel, also the width and offset are embossed next to the valve stem hole (one number on each side of the hole). The numbers don't show up well in my photographs since it's a bit dark in the garage.

To split hairs, if your 94 968 has option code 718 and/or has the plastic engine bay beauty trims with glove storage you have a re-vin 1993 or 1993.5

In that scenario you’d would have had the Cup I 17s that are slightly different.

The twists do look good. I learned not to like them for the sole reason they’re a more modern style and I prefer the retro chunky look of Cup I on the 964, Audi RS2, 928 S4 & GTS.

Correct and good catch. I made the assumption that the OP was referring to a "real" 1994.
