While I was gone in Europe I had my mechanic come over and take the car in for an oil change. Today I took the car to get handwashed and vacuumed, then ran over to Barnes and Noble to get a book. Top was down. Anyway, I come out from B n N and what do I see? My spare key, sitting nicely ON the passenger seat. The mechanic must've placed it under the seat, and my handwash guy must've put it on the seat for me, which I didn't notice. Thank God no one walked over, looked in, reached away, then drove away!

Well, I visited a Barnes & Noble this afternoon also (looking for a copy of the 9/11 Commission's report). Of course, I was at a shopping center here in New York, had I stumbled upon your car I probably would not have been able to resist driving off in the speed yellow 968.

Damian, the person couldn't have gone too far. How many speed yellow 968 cabs are out there? that too in the state of NJ?
None!
It was a close call and I am glad she is where she belongs.

I may start checking the parking lot of B&Ns for Yellow Cabs with keys in the seat.
