Default Turbo 968 wheel questions

I have a couple of questions

What are the correct widths and offsets of the front and rear Turbo 968 wheels?

my other question is
Is the only way to tell the wheels are the "real deal" by the Porsche etching on the rim?

I ask because i think there is a set on ebay

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=43958

I need a set

Thanks in advance

The 968 turbo had 17" wheels didn't it?

The offest would never work on our cars. These are not original 3.6 wheels. They were 52mm front and 65mm rear.

The offsets on the wheels in that e-bay auction will not work on the 968. 15 and 21mm will push the tire way outside the fender lip.

Raj is correct. A 3.6 turbo is NOT a 930, the last "930" being the '89 911 turbos. I believe the later turbos were 962 & 964 respectively.

Are you looking for real 968 Turbo wheels or something with the same look?

Those wheels are expensive. I have seen wheel and tire packages for similar looking wheels that would fit typically go for $3600 or less new.

were the turbo wheels 8 x 18 offset of 52 and 10 x 18 offset 61? same as the 3.6 964 turbo S?

i was looking for the real ones, but also have been looking at the
sport techno wheels that are on some newer 996 cars.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...spagename=WDVW

They are 18 X 8 with 50mm for the front and the rears are 18 X 10 with a 47mm offset which i think can fit the 968 without any problems
