Default What turbo size for my 968?

As some of you might know I have been building a 968 turbo using a 8 valve head and some 951 turbo parts....well the engine is all done and ready to go back into the 968. Im not sure what size turbo I want to use and would like some of your guys opinions on what size you think would go good with the 3.0L engine. my goal is the upper 300hp numbers....having a little turbo lag does not bother me but least as possible. You guys with 951's and upgraded turbos please input also. when i figure out my turbo size then i will order my injectors. Thanks for your input. Tate

I would swear by the K27/11. It is oil cooled only and is sourced from a 964 turbo. It works very well on our cars and is similar to the one used on a factory 968 turbo RS.
Full boost will be in the 3300-3500rpm range and you should easily make 350rwhp with moderate boost. It does require modifying your turbo engine mount and your crossover flange.
If you want more power and less lag and want a bolton solution, I have a garrett gt25 setup that Chris from Technodyne used on his race car. Full boost can be expected in the mid to high 2000s and will make well over 350rwhp at moderate boost. Let me know if you are interested. Send me a PM. I am using a similar setup but with a bigger turbo.
